The National duet with Chvrches' Lauren Mayberry, debut new track "Roman Candle"
The National have had a busy weekend, debuting a new song called "Roman Candle" and duetting with Lauren Mayberry of Chvrches on Trouble Will Find Me track "I Need My Girl".
The new cut was debuted at a benefit show at the Troubadour in Los Angeles, while their duet with Mayberry took place at the Treasure Island Music Festival in San Francisco.
Frontman Matt Berninger, along with Menomena/The Ramona Falls' Brent Knopf, is midway through releasing an album as EL VY.
The National are currently working on the follow up to 2013's Trouble Will Find Me, and you can read about the early stages of that process in our interview with the band's Scott Devendorf.
