The Great Escape 2015 announces first 150 acts
Brighton's The Great Escape festival and new music showcase has announced its initial lineup, including Alabama Shakes, Dutch Uncles, Django Django and many more.
Speaking about their slot, Alabama Shakes - who've upgraded from playing to 400 audience members in 2012, to gracing the event's largest stage this year - said:
"We are very happy to return to Brighton for The Great Escape. We had a blast last time. We just finished our new record and very excited to share it with the TGE audience."
Other names confirmed include: Clarence Clarity, Slaves, SOAK, Mt. Wolf, Little Simz, Tei Shi, Haelos, Menace Beach, Happyness, Girl Band, Mapei, Songhoy Blues, Oceaán, Pretty Vicious, 1987, Seinabo Sey, Tobias Jesso Jr, Louis Mttrs, Jack Garratt, Aquilo, Flo Morrissey, Laura Doggett, Real Lies and Loyle Carner.

The multi-venue city festival will take place 14-16 May, and celebrates its 10th birthday this year. More information, including ticket details, can be found here.
