Woman's Hour, Tove Lo and more announced for Best Fit's stage at The Great Escape
With just under a month away until The Great Escape returns for a ninth year, we can reveal that The Line Of Best Fit stage will be headed up by Secretly Canadian signings Woman’s Hour and Swedish pop talent Tove Lo.
This year, we’ll be taking over Komedia – located in the heart of Brighton – for our fourth year hosting a stage. Five acts that Best Fit have supported over the past twelve months will play on the festival’s opening night (Thursday, 8 May).
Joining Woman’s Hour and Tove Lo are a trio of rising pop sensations: Oslo-born Emilie Nicholas and London’s Pawws and Laurel. Get a flavour of the bands in our playlist below.
The official artwork for the stage has been designed specially for Best Fit by Leif Podhajsky, creator of iconic album covers for the likes of Foals (Holy Fire), Tame Impala (Elephant), Toy (S/T) and Lykke Li (Wounded Rhymes).
