Tame Impala reworks The Slow Rush songs during NPR Tiny Desk (Home) Concert
Tame Impala's NPR Tiny Desk (Home) Concert has been released, and sees Kevin Parker rework three songs from his most recent album The Slow Rush.
Parker performed the Tiny Desk (Home) Concert with help from live bandmates Jay Watson (GUM), and Dominic Simper.
The trio perform recreated versions of "Breathe Deeper", "Is It True" and "Patience" using samplers and sequencers.
Speaking to NPR ahead of the Tiny Desk (Home) Concert, Parker said, "I'll get Jay (Watson) and Dom (Simper) and we'll do this kind of electronic jam with heaps of equipment around us and we'll recreate the songs with samplers and sequencers. I've wanted to do something like this for a while and thought Tiny Desk would be the opportunity to do it."
Last week, Tame Impala's "Is It True" got remixed by Four Tet. Last month, Parker released a rare remix of 070 Shake's "Guilty Conscience".
