Sub Pop release their very own brand of shoes
“We learned early on that probably the best way we could spend promotional money was to make a profit having other people wear our logo,” Sub Pop founder Bruce Pavitt once said of the label’s iconic and ever-present t-shirts. And now the Seattle imprint have gone and released their very own line of footwear.
Sub Pop have teamed up with TOMS to design some limited edition shoes for the apparel company, marking the label’s recent ‘Silver Jubilee’ 25th anniversary celebrations.
The collection includes one pair of grey lace-ups and two designs of TOMS slip-on shoes, one in blue and one red. You can check those out below. A free Sub Pop sampler CD comes with every shoe purchased.
