Steve Earle and The Dukes made an appearance on the latest episode of Jimmy Kimmel Live to perform two songs by his late son Justin Townes Earle.
On Monday (4 January), Steve Earle released his J.T. tribute album to mark what would've been his son's 39th birthday, following his death in August last year.
The J.T. album featured covers of Justin Townes Earle's songs, and last night (7 January) Earle and The Dukes performed a couple of tracks from the tribute album on Jimmy Kimmel Live.
Earle and The Dukes performed "Harlem River Blues" and "Far Away in Another Town". At the end of "Harlem River Blues", Earle addressed his late son, "See you when I get there, cowboy."
Steve Earle and The Dukes' J.T. album is out now.
