Stephen Malkmus and The Jicks are back with "Middle America", their first new material in four years.
The erstwhile Pavement frontman has kept mostly quiet on all fronts (bar Beck and Taylor Swift covers) since 2014's Wig Out At Jagbags LP, but returns in style with The Jicks for an Americana-dapped beaut about life matters big and small.
Last year Malkmus' former bandmate Scott Kannberg hinted at Pavement's reunion for their 30th anniversary... but let's just wait and see before we get too carried away.
