Snail Mail shares new single "Ben Franklin"
Snail Mail has shared a second outing from her forthcoming Valentine album titled "Ben Franklin".
Following Snail Mail's return last month with her second album title-track "Valentine", a second track from the record has been released titled "Ben Franklin".
Lindsey Jordan says of the new song that's accompanied with another Josh Coll-directed video, "I wanted to sonically and lyrically get out of my comfort zone with "Ben Franklin". It felt only right that the visual accompaniment should include dancing in front of a camera and holding a 10 foot snake close to my face."
Valentine, which will follow her 2018 debut album Lush, is written and produced by Jordan, and co-produced by Brad Cook (Bon Iver, Waxahatchee).
Jordan adds of the her second album, "I wanted to take as much time as possible with this record to make sure I was happy with every detail before unleashing it unto y’all. Referring to the process as the deepest level of catharsis and therapy I have ever experienced would be a huge understatement. Valentine is my child!"
