Following last night's (20 July) special In Defence of the Arts episode of BALLEY TV, IDLES have released the updated version of "Model Village" featuring slowthai.
IDLES' lead vocalist Joe Talbot launched BALLEY TV in May 2020, and last night (20 July) a new, hour-long episode titled In Defence of the Arts was aired. Filmed in the Old Vic Tunnels at House of Vans London, the special episode featured appearances from slowthai, Katy J Pearson, Deep Tan and Nuha Ruby Ra.
During the episode, slowthai joined IDLES for a performance of their Ultra Mono track "Model Village", and today (21 July), an official studio version of the collaboration has been released.
"Model Village" featuring slowthai is out now. A 7" single being released 22 October is available to pre-order now. The new episode of IDLES' BALLEY TV is available to watch now on YouTube.
