Sigur Rós to headline Manchester's Live From Jodrell Bank
Sigur Rós have been confirmed as the headliner’s for the award-winning Live From Jodrell Bank series this summer.
The first event, a one day show taking place on an outdoor stage near the Lovell Telescope at The University of Manchester’s Jodrell Bank Observatory, is set to take place on 30 August 2013.
The Icelandic band follow the likes of Elbow and The Flaming Lips as bands who have played the series in the past.
Tickets are available here from Friday 18 January, with more info on the official website. More acts are to be announced.
It was also recently announced that a Sigur Rós video would be shown on 3,000 taxi televisions in New York next month.
