Icelandic post-rock veterans Sigur Rós have created a special festive mix for BBC Radio 6 Music, with tunes from My Blood Valentine, JFDR, and many more.
Tracks by Julianna Barwick, Sin Fang, Sóley, and Örvar Smárason, Alex Somers, Dan Deacon, Kaitlyn Aurelia Smith, and Blanck Mass are also among those included in the mix, which arrives as Sigur Rós' Reykjavík-based festival Norður Og Niður is taking place for the first time.
The band's fest includes performances from a range of artists, including some who pop up on the mystical mix, and will have a bunch of special one-off releases and limited edition records available.
