Sharon Van Etten has released a cover of David Bowie's "Starman" that features in the new Netflix documentary Return to Space.
Yesterday (7 April) Netflix released Return to Space, a new documentary that follows NASA and SpaceX on their nearly 20-year journey to send American astronauts to space on US rockets.
Sharon Van Etten, who is preparing to release her own album We’ve Been Going About This All Wrong, contributed a short cover of David Bowie's "Starman" to the documentary, which plays during the end credits.
We've Been Going About This All Wrong will follow Van Etten's 2019 album Remind Me Tomorrow, and is co-produced with Daniel Knowles.
Return to Space is available to watch on Netflix now. Sharon Van Etten's We've Been Going About This All Wrong album will be released via Jagjaguwar on 6 May, and is available to pre-order now. She'll play London's O2 Academy Brixton on 17 June. Visit sharonvanetten.com for tickets.
