Shame call out ticketing company Dice for "slyly adding" booking fees
Fast-rising punks Shame have posted a series of messages on Twitter accusing ticketing company Dice of secretly adding booking fees.
Dice, an award-winning company which recently entered the US market, has been praised by many for offering fans the chance to buy tickets at face value - without any booking fees attached. It launched in 2014 partly in response to touts and the secondary ticket industry.
Shame, who recently released debut record Songs Of Praise, say that Dice have "slyly added a 10% booking fee to shows costing above £10... without the slightest consultation."
Everyone’s favourite “no booking fees” vendor @dicefm have slyly added a 10% booking fee to shows costing above £10, we knew absolutely nothing about this. Sorry to anyone who’s been stung by this. To avoid needless charges get your tickets from @musicglue https://t.co/eQFhq6ycPP

We’ve used @dicefm for every headline show for the last year because it benefits music fans who don’t want to get ripped off by fees. Here they are charging £20.85 for a £16 show. Will we not be using Dice again from here on out. Fucking money grabbers. pic.twitter.com/e07uYQIPTz
