Sasami and Mitski want to make some "classically based music"
Ahead of Sasami's main End Of The Road set, she reveals that her potential collaboration with Mitski could be "classically based".
Sasami just completed a secret set at Best Fit's Piano Stage at End Of The Road which saw her debut new single "Take Care" for the first time in the UK.
Speaking about her new release, Sasami said, "That’s kind of the end of the album cycle to me, it’s kind of like sonically and emotionally kind of marks the end of that chapter."
Her self-titled debut album dropped back in March.

In a Q&A with Best Fit earlier this month, Sasami spoke of potential collaboration with Mitski, which is yet to happen. Of the two singer/songwriters teaming up, SASAMI explained, "I don’t know... we’ll talk tonight. We both have a background in classical music, and go nerd out about that kind of stuff, so we had talked about saving some time to make some kind of classically based music..."
Sasami will play a full set at End Of The Road's Big Top at 2:30pm today (30 August).
