Rostam releases cover of The Strokes' "Under Control"
Rostam has officially released his cover of The Strokes' "Under Control", originally recorded for the Save Stereogum benefit album earlier this year.
Rostam, along with The National, Sharon Van Etten, El-P, Julien Baker, Car Seat Headrest, Benjamin Gibbard (Death Cab For Cutie), Mac DeMarco, PUP, Nothing, Soccer Mommy, Clipping, TOPS, Ty Segall, Wye Oak, Waxahatchee, and more, recorded covers for the Save Stereogum: An ‘00s Covers Comp, which was released exclusively to those that helped support Stereogum.
Last night (10 December) Rostam made his contribution to the compilation album available as an official single. It's a cover of The Strokes' "Under Control", which originally featured on their Room On Fire album from 2003.
His cover of The Strokes marks Rostam's first outing since releasing his solo single "Unfold You" in October.
