Producer Erol Alkan is at the helm - he revealed the news on social media, with reps confirming the news. Ride's most recent studio record, Tarantula, was released in 1996.
The Oxford-based outfit reunited for a series of headline shows and festival dates in 2014, and last year celebrated the 25th anniversary of seminal debut Nowhere.
London-based Alkan has produced with Late Of The Pier, Mystery Jets, and The Long Blondes in the past - he's also a prolific remixer, promoter, and artist in his own right.
