
Rhys Lewis releases tender new single "No Right To Love You"
Rhys Lewis is back with tender new track "No Right To Love You", another taster of his debut album Things I Chose to Remember.
"No Right To Love You" is the sixth single to be lifted from Lewis' debut LP, landing after earlier outings "Good People", "Better Than Today", "When Was The Last Time?", "What If" and "Be Your Man".
Lewis says of his new track, "This song came out of the conflicting emotions I felt during a breakup that I went through a few years ago. Ending a relationship with someone you still love is a strange thing to go through. As the person doing the breaking up, it’s confusing to feel both regretful and relieved at the same time. I wanted to articulate that tension and express how heavy the absence of someone can feel when you haven’t yet broken the habit of loving them."
As well as releasing singles from his upcoming debut album, Lewis also released a track made in isolation titled "The Sun Will Rise" last month.
