Perfume Genius reveals his new album is done

Perfume Genius, aka Mike Hadreas, has revealed that his new album is finished.

Back in October, Hadreas dropped "Pop Song", which was lifted from his recent collaboration with choreographer Kate Wallich and the YC dance company, The Sun Still Burns Here.

Despite taking The Sun Still Burns Here on tour in the US, Perfume Genius is yet to follow up his 2017 album No Shape.

This afternoon (20 December) on Twitter, Hadreas shared an update on his next LP, "My album is done and YES nearly every song makes me full on sob. Whole sheets, full fuckin blankets of tears. I’m run towards the light."

There's no indication as to when it will be released, but hopefully it'll see the light of day in 2020.
