Oscar Lang previews debut album with warm new track "Thank You"
Oscar Lang has released his warm new cut "Thank You" today (6 July), which arrives as a fourth taster of his debut album Chew The Scenery.
"Thank You" is the fourth outing from Chew The Scenery, landing after earlier outings "21st Century Hobby", "Are You Happy?" and "Stuck".
Lang says of the new song, ""Thank You" is all about growing up, accepting your mistakes, and being thankful for the fact that they allow you to learn about yourself and change."
Chew The Scenery, which will follow last year's Antidote To Being Bored EP, was recorded over the space of a month in Liverpool. Lang explains, "Over the past two years the sound of my music has changed a lot, from bedroom pop to rock. We recorded the album over a month up in Liverpool. It was a nice break away from the tedious lockdown in the UK as I got to spend a month away with my mates doing what I love. I think you can hear that built-up boredom being released on the record."
