Morrissey sued by bodyguard, claims he was fired for refusing to "hurt" admin of fansite
Morrissey’s new album is pretty great. But, as ever, most publicity has stemmed from non-music matters in recent months. The latest of these Moz-related incidents sees his bodyguard reportedly suing the singer.
As TMZ reports, Bradley Steyn claims to have been unfairly dismissed by the former Smiths frontman, alleging that Morrissey asked him to “hurt” the admin of fansite Morrissey-solo.com.
The singer is said to feel that the site had “invaded his personal life”, with his tour manager asking Steyn if the owner “could be gotten rid of”. When Steyn refused to act upon what was being suggested, he was duly fired the very next day.
