Ministry Of Sound founder recieves House of Lords nomination from Nick Clegg
Founder of dance music heavyweight Ministry of Sound, James Palumbo is set to be nominated as a Lord later this month, with his name being put forward by Liberal Democrat leader Nick Clegg.
The Deputy Prime Ministry really has been trying to show his musical credentials lately; first by hanging out with Mick Jagger and now with this.
The Times are reporting that Clegg will make the nomination as a mark of respect for the label boss and club owner who has donated around £500,000 to the Lib Dems since 2004 and has even offered his nightclub up as a campaign HQ to the political party in the past.
The decision will be ratified by the rest of the Commons later this month.
