Singer/songwriter Maisie Peters has shared a tender new offering, "Favourite Ex".
"Favourite Ex" is Peters' first single since February's "Stay Young".
Expanding on the single, Peters explains, "I love songs that feel emotionally expansive, and to me "Favourite Ex" holds so many different feelings – love, sadness, regret, gratitude, longing and perspective. The phrase "Favourite Ex" was something my sister’s ex-boyfriend said to her on a night out that stuck with me, I just thought it was such an interesting contradiction and so I have him to thank for the title."
Yesterday Maisie Peters was confirmed as the headliner for Best Fit's stage at The Great Escape 2019.
"Favourite Ex" is out now via Atlantic. Maisie Peters plays a sold out UK tour this month before heading to Brighton for The Great Escape. Find out more.
