Lucy Dacus performs cover of Snow Patrol's "Chasing Cars"
As part of her SiriusXMU Session, Lucy Dacus performed a cover of Snow Patrol's 2006 hit single "Chasing Cars".
Tomorrow (25 June) Dacus will release her third album Home Video, and yesterday (23 June) during a session for SiriusXMU, Dacus decided to cover Snow Patrol's "Chasing Cars".
Home Video will follow Dacus' 2018 second album Historian, and will see Dacus continue the collaborative camaraderie she has with boygenius bandmates Phoebe Bridgers and Julien Baker, who contribute to two of the songs. Earlier this year Dacus and Bridgers contributed to Baker's "Favor" track that featured on her Little Oblivions album.
Dacus recorded Home Video after returning to Trace Horse Studio in Nashville back in August 2019, and teamed up with friends and collaborators Jacob Blizard, Collin Pastore and Jake Finch to record it.
