London Grammar tease new single with handwritten lyric sheet
London Grammar appear to be teasing the next single from their Californian Soil album with a handwritten lyric sheet.
Californian Soil will be London Grammar's third album, following 2017's Truth is a Beautiful Thing. So far they've released the album title-track and "Baby It's You", and now it looks like the band are teasing their next single.
London Grammar shared a picture of a handwritten lyric sheet resting on a mixing console. They captioned the post, "Gone are the shadows and the past", and the sheet contains lyrics such as, "Are you happy now? / Are you one in a million / Are you happy now? / Healing all my shame."
The lyric sheet also appears to have printed lyrics on the back such as "Table of fire / All your demons / All your demons drift away / They drift away / All these chains on ya / All these chains."

Vocalist Hannah Reid said of their upcoming album, "This record is about gaining possession of my own life. You imagine success will be amazing. Then you see it from the inside and ask, why am I not controlling this thing? Why am I not allowed to be in control of it? And does that connect, in any way to being a woman? If so, how can I do that differently?"
