Liverpool Psych Fest won't be taking place this year
Liverpool International Festival Of Psychedelia - aka the Liverpool Psych Fest - is taking a year off with plans to return in 2019.
"After six years of constant growth and development, we have taken the decision to take a fallow year in 2018," organisers revealed on Facebook. "The festival will return in 2019, as we continue to challenge the idea of what constitutes the modern psychedelic condition. Thank you to every member of the PZYK Congregation who has been part of the journey so far: now is the beginning of a new future."
A full statement explaining the decision has been posted on their website.
Last year's festival featured performances from Songhoy Blues, Laetitia Sadier, Gnod, Loop, A Place To Bury Strangers, and many more.
