Last week, Del Rey shared an Instagram post confirming her new album will be released on 5 September.
In the same post, she responded to claims that she's "glamorising abuse". After receiving backlash from that post, Del Rey uploaded a second over the weekend, in which she reaffirmed that her original post was about "the importance of self advocacy for the more delicate and often dismissed, softer female personality." She also confirms that her behind the iron gates - insights from an institution poetry book is due for release in March 2021.
