Kristin Kontrol cranks up the pop on new offering "Concrete Love"
Kristin Kontrol has unveiled new track "Concrete Love", warm synthpop track with offbeat accents and big hooks.
Kristin Krontrol - real name Kristin Gundred, formerly Dee Dee of Dum Dum Girls - is following up last year's "Baby Are You In?" one-off and debut record X-Communicate.
Frequent collaborator Andrew Miller is on production duties, with Alex Tumay (Young Thug, 21 Savage) mixing and Heba Kadry (Slowdive, Beach House) mastering.
Gundred and Miller have also just finished work on a "feature-length film score" for Looking Glass by Tim Hunter, which is expected to be released next March. On top of that Gundred is producing Taleen Kali's solo debut and working on her next Kristin Kontrol record. Busy times.
