Kehlani shares cathartic new cut "Everybody Business"
Kehlani is back with "Everybody Business", a cathartic single about being in the public eye.
"Everybody Business" is Kehlani's first new offering since last month's "Toxic".
The single tackles fame and the psychological strain the comes with living a life in the public eye. She sings, "Trust you can see through it all / Believe through it all, breathe through it all / Our backs against the wall / We rise and we fall, oh."
"Everybody Business" also interpolates Pharrell and Jay-Z's 2003 collaboration "Frontin" - both have songwriting credits on Kehlani's new track, as well as The Neptunes' Chad Hugo. Kehlani co-produced the track with Go Grizzly and Loshendrix.
The singer is yet to follow up her While We Wait mixtape that landed in March 2019.
