Coinye West, the virtual currency that was based around Kanye West, has finally been defeated by Yeezy in a lawsuit.
Documents filed this week signalled the end of the lawsuit, which began in January of this year when Kanye’s lawyers sent a trademark infringement suit to the creators of Coinye, who responded by posting a message on their website saying: “Coinye is dead. You win, Kanye.”
West’s lawyers identified 100 unknown people and a few named defendants that were involved in Coinye. A good number of these lost the case by default after they didn’t respond to allegations and three settled with the rapper.
