John Lydon, Brandon Boyd & Michelle Williams to star in production of Jesus Christ Superstar

Sex Pistols singer and butter enthusiast, John Lydon is set to star in a touring production of Andrew Lloyd Webber’s Jesus Christ Superstar, alongside a host of other famous (and equally unlikely) names.
Lydon, best known as “Johnny Rotten”, will assume the role of King Herod along the way of the 50-city North American stint. He’ll be joined by Destiny’s Child’s Michelle Williams as Mary, Incubus frontman Brandon Boyd as Judas, N Sync’s JC Chasez as Pontius Pilate and ITV talent show winner Ben Forster as Jesus himself.
