John Grant gets funky on new Tracey Thorn collab "Disappointing"
Slap bass? '80s house? It's probably not what you'd expect, but it's on John Grant's new collaboration with Tracey Thorn (Everything But The Girl).
If you've ever wondered what John Grant would sound like collaborating with Prince or Stevie Wonder, look no further. The track is taken from Grant's upcoming third LP Grey Tickles, Black Pressure.
Grant recently spoke to BBC 6 Music's Mary Anne Hobbs about a wide range of topics, including the upcoming record.
Grey Tickles, Black Pressure is out on Bella Union on 2 October. It follows 2013's Pale Green Ghosts. You can pre-order it here.
Stream "Disappointing" below, and then check out Grant's upcoming UK/EU dates afterwards.
