Jessie Ware shares free download of unreleased track
Jessie Ware has shared an unreleased track/demo for free download this morning, to celebrate the release of her phenomenal sophomore LP, Tough Love.
We were immensely impressed with the record, making it our Album Of The Week last week, with our editor Paul Bridgewater saying:
"It’s a masterclass in how not to fuck up a record and one that many could learn from. Where there’s an opportunity to overplay it, Ware and her producers do the opposite, imbuing intelligence over excess. Tough Love both caresses and respects its audience - a hard thing to pull off in this day and age."
The unreleased track, titled "12", is a shimmering pop tune. The bass and percussion throb away, lurking underneath an ocean of fluid pads and vocal dexterity before a melange of chime and stabs interject; it's classic Ware with a calypso twist.
