Jarvis Cocker and Lætitia Sadier share cover of "Paroles Paroles"
Jarvis Cocker and Lætitia Sadier have teamed up on a cover of Dalida and Alain Delon's "Paroles Paroles", which will feature on Chansons d’Ennui Tip-Top, the companion album to Wes Anderson's new film The French Dispatch.
"Paroles Paroles" is the second song to be lifted from Cocker's Chansons d’Ennui Tip-Top album (after last month's "Aline"), and sees him collaborate with French musician Lætitia Sadier for the cover of Dalida and Alain Delon's 1973 track.
Chansons d’Ennui Tip-Top is an album of French songs covered by Cocker that will arrive as a companion piece to Anderson's forthcoming film. Cocker recorded the album of French songs with the same group of musicians featured on last year's JARV IS... album Beyond The Pale.
Wes Anderson's new film The French Dispatch is due for release later this month, and will star the likes of Timothée Chalamet, Willem Dafoe, Adrien Brody, Tilda Swinton, Owen Wilson, Bill Murray, Edward Norton and more.
