James are set to open this year's Glastonbury Festival

James have confirmed that they're joining the Glastonbury bill, and opening the festival's Other Stage at 11am on the Friday.
Frontman Tim Booth dilvulged the details on BBC Radio 5 Live. "We're going to cut the ribbon and smash the champagne on the ship," Booth said of their slot.
James join headliners Muse, Adele, and Coldplay, as well as PJ Harvey, Jess Glynne, Jeff Lynne's ELO, and Grimes at the Worthy Farm event.
Glastonbury 2016 takes place 22-26 June, and is sold out.
