Jeff Lynne's ELO have been confirmed for this year's Glastonbury Festival.
Lynne will take to the stage with the Electric Light Orchestra at teatime on Sunday - the same 'legends' slot that has seen Dolly Parton and Lionel Richie in recent years.
During the '70s, the band released a string of highly successful records, and Lynne carved out a prolific production career as well. ELO's eponymous debut record was released in 1971; Across The Universe, their latest (as Jeff Lynne's ELO), arriving last year.
Lynne was also a member of supergroup The Traveling Wilburys, which also featured Beatle George Harrison, Bob Dylan, Roy Orbison, and Tom Petty.
Other names so far confirmed for Glastonbury include Canadian producer Grimes, with Adele, Radiohead, Coldplay, and more strongly rumoured to headline the iconic event's Pyramid Stage.
Glastonbury 2016 takes place 22-26 June, and is sold out.
