It looks like Placebo are returning with a new single this week
Placebo have shared an image of a billboard featuring the words "Beautiful James" alongside a release date for this week, leading fans to believe they could finally be releasing their first new music in five years.
After revealing on Twitter in May that their eighth album is "finished" and "being primed for release", Placebo have shared what appears to be a billboard for a new single titled "Beautiful James".
Placebo uploaded the image on socials yesterday (13 September), and captioned the posts with a release date - 17 September.

If "Beautiful James" is a new single, it'll be their first new material since 2016's "Jesus' Son", which featured on their Life's What You Make It EP.
The band's eighth album will be their first since 2013's Loud Like Love.
