It looks like Marcus Mumford is getting ready to go solo
According to multiple reports, Marcus Mumford is gearing up to launch his solo career away from Mumford & Sons.
After sharing a couple of clips from the studio on socials this month, Page Six reports that Marcus Mumford gave a performance at a Spotify-sponsored event at the Cannes Lions International Festival Of Creativity 2022, and reportedly told attendees that he would be performing new music that will later be released on Spotify.

In 2020 he shared a couple of tracks away from Mumford & Sons, including a cover of "You'll Never Walk Alone", and an appearance on Major Lazer's "Lay Your Head On Me".
Back in June last year Mumford & Sons' guitarist and banjo player Winston Marshall announced his permanent departure from the band after receiving backlash for praising Andy Ngo's Unmasked Antifa book.
