Interpol, plus their tour support Hundred Waters, have finally escaped the confines of their snowy shackles for the first time in over 50 hours.
The two acts had been trapped by around 70 inches of snow on their way to a Toronto show (which was cancelled, alongside their Montreal gig).
The band's Daniel Kessler kept Twitter abreast of the situation, probably due to boredom - one Tweet sees them polling fans on Britain's affinity for peanut butter. The band were first trapped by the blizzard 6pm around 18 November.
Finally just started making a move. 50+ hours later. Hoping for some luck today.-DK pic.twitter.com/2cpeu1lxQn
