"I Drink Wine" will be the next single from Adele's 30 album
Ahead of Adele's long-awaited fourth album 30 arriving next week, a new interview with Adele has revealed that the next single from the record will be "I Drink Wine".
Last month Adele made her long-awaited comeback with "Easy On Me", the first single from her upcoming fourth album 30, and although Adele is yet to announce a second single from the album, a new interview with Rolling Stone reveals that "I Drink Wine" is an upcoming single.
According to the piece, the track is about "shedding one's ego". Adele said, "I took everything so personally at that period oftime in my life, so the lyric "I hope I learn to get over myself" is like [me saying] "Once I've done that, then maybe I can let you love me"."
Earlier this week another new song from 30 titled "Hold On" was featured in the new Amazon Christmas advert.
30 will follow 2015's 25 album, and in a statement shared to socials last month, Adele described the album as "my ride or die throughout the most turbulent period of my life."
The new album is produced by frequent collaborators Greg Kurstin, Max Martin, Shellback and Tobias Jesso Jr, as well as new collaborators Inflo and Ludwig Göransson.
