Hatchie shares new album title-track "Giving The World Away"
Hatchie has released "Giving The World Away" as the third preview of her upcoming second album of the same name.
"Giving The World Away" will appear on Hatchie's album of the same name with "Quicksand" and last year's "This Enchanted".
Hatchie reveals the new single is "about being gentle with yourself in the throes of depression. We made a simple lyric video with analogue effects to let the lyrics of the song speak for themselves."
Giving The World Away will follow Hatchie's 2019 debut album Keepsake, and is produced by Jorge Elbrecht (Sky Ferreira, Japanese Breakfast).
Hatchie, real name Harriette Pilbeam says of the record, "There's more to me than just writing songs about being in love or being heartbroken -- there's a bigger picture than that. This album really just feels like the beginning to me, and scratching the surface – and even though it’s my third release as Hatchie, I feel like I’m rebooting from scratch."
