Halsey delivers new single "So Good"
Halsey has unveiled new single "So Good", which they previously claimed was held up by their record label unless they faked "a viral moment on TikTok".
Last month Halsey shared a TikTok claiming that their new song was being held up by Capitol Records until they "fake a viral moment" on the platform. The TikTok ended up going viral, and the label responded with a statement saying they're an "artist first company that encourages open dialogue," and committed to the release of "So Good".
"So Good", produced by Tobias Karlsson and Max Martin, has now arrived in full, marking Halsey's first new material of 2022 after last year's If I Can’t Have Love, I Want Power album.
Last night (9 June) on Twitter, Halsey wrote of the new song, "guys stop texting your exes lmao this song isn’t about an ex that worked out later on! It’s about the friend that was always there for me, who I realized I was in love with one day. text that angel instead!!!!!"

In another tweet, she added, "I think this is the biggest and best reaction to a song release I have ever seen from you guys. I’m truly giddy. all of this was so worth it. I had a gut feeling this was a good one. ily."
