Grimes has shared her first new single of the year, a demo of new song "Pretty Dark".
"Pretty Dark" is a demo from Grimes' "AR musical", and is the first new material from Grimes since collaborating with Bring Me The Horizon on "nihilist blues".
The new release is the first demo of many to land in the next few months. Grimes says, "I’ll be dumping demos for the next few months cuz the album is 2 ambitious/ taking too long."
Grimes is yet to follow up her 2015 album Art Angels.
Last year she released "We Appreciate Power" featuring HANA, and went on to feature on Poppy's "Play Destroy", and Jimmy Urine's "The Medicine Does Not Control Me".
"Pretty Dark" is out now.
