Grimes and Poppy reveal long-awaited collaboration "Play Destroy"
Soaring between chugging guitar riffs and pleasant pop choruses, "Play Destroy" arrives after Grimes teased fans with images of the two working together back in May.
"Play Destroy" is featured on Poppy's Am I a Girl? record that dropped today.
Grimes has been teasing new music throughout the year, and is still yet to release a follow-up to her 2015 album Art Angels.
A couple of weeks ago Grimes appeared on Jimmy Urine's album on new track "The Medicine Does Not Control Me". Last week it was revealed Grimes would feature on Bring Me The Horizon's new album.
Prior to that Grimes appeared on a recent Apple advert with a snippet of one of her unreleased tracks "That’s What The Drugs Are For", and made a theme tune for Netflix animation Hilda. Back in May Grimes teamed up with K-pop group Loona/yyxy for "love4ever".
