"Going Norway" is the second track off their highly-anticipated second record The Talkies. It will follow on from their lead single "Shoulderblades" that landed last month.

Revealing details of their forthcoming single on socials, Girl Band wrote, "We have a new single "Going Norway" releasing digitally on 15th August and as a 7” single on the 16th August. The 7” has an exclusive B-side "The Talkies" which will be physical only."

Girl Band's second LP The Talkies will arrive four years after their debut record Holding Hands With Jamie.

The Talkies was recorded in November 2018 at Ballintubbert House outside of Dublin, and is produced by the band's bassist Daniel Fox.

Speaking about the record, guitarist Alan Duggan says, "In many ways the idea behind the album was to make an audio representation of the house."

"Going Norway" will arrive digitally on 15 August and on 7" vinyl on 16 August. Girl Band's second album The Talkies lands 27 September via Rough Trade. They play London's Electric Ballroom on 5 November. Find out more.
