Experimental electronica duo Gilligan Moss share thumping, dark-funk single "Fever"
Returning electronica duo Gilligan Moss are well on their way to re-defining their sound as they introduce new single "Fever".
Having closed their previous chapter after 2015's Ceremonial EP, Gilligan Moss are back with a vibrant beat and foreboding synths that unite to make a playful offering.
April saw the duo unveil "What Happened?", the start of the new era for Gilligan Moss, and May welcomed their second single "Want U So Bad".
Now they're back with the infectious "Fever", which playfully swerves between intricate elecronica melodies and overwhelming swells of synths to add a darker temperament to the dancefloor-ready track.
Speaking about their latest offering, the NYC duo explain, "We set out to make a tune that encapsulates the feeling of being in a suffocatingly hot club. It can be sexy, unpleasant, and euphoric all at once. Once you let go and embrace being sticky and uncomfortable, you can enter a fever dream-state. This song is a soundtrack to that heat-induced euphoria...Or just a song for the real Hot Yoga heads."
