The nominations for next year’s Grammy Awards have been announced.

Frank Ocean comes out on top in the number of listings, appearing as a nominee for ‘Album of the year’, ‘Record of the year’ and ‘Best new artist’.

Elsewhere, Drake has been shortlisted for ‘Best rap album’, while Tom Waits, Jack White, Fiona Apple and Bjork all fight it out for ‘Best alternative music album’.

Two of our not-so-guilty pleasures of the year, Taylor Swift’s ‘We Are Never Ever Getting Back Together’ and Carly Rae Jepsen’s ‘Call Me Maybe’ are up for ‘Record of the year’ and ‘Song of the year (songwriter’s award)’ respectively.
