Soulwax announce first album in seven years, All Systems Are Lying
Soulwax have returned with the announcement of All Systems Are Lying – their first full-length in seven years – alongside the release of a double single.
Described by the brothers as “a rock album made without any electric guitars”, All Systems Are Lying was built entirely from modular synths, live drums, tape machines and processed vocals. “We wanted to capture the feeling of a band playing electronic instruments — live, loud and loose” say David & Stephen. “This record is the result of that experiment”
The announcement arrives alongside a brand new double A-side single featuring the album’s title track "All Systems Are Lying" and its counterpart, "Run Free".
