Fontaines DC perform new song "I Love You" during London show
Fontaines DC performed a new song called "I Love You" last night (27 October) during their Alexandra Palace show in London.
After revealing last month that their third album is "done", Fontaines DC added a new song to their setlist for last night's London show at Alexandra Palace.
Stereogum notes that the band debuted a new track titled "I Love You", and fan footage has emerged online.
Their yet-to-be-announced third album will follow 2020's A Hero’s Death. While speaking to Matt Wilkinson on his Apple Music 1 show last month, Fontaines DC said of their third album, "It's done. It's done. The third album is wrapped up. I can't tell you when it's going to be released, but we did hope to have it out a lot earlier. I think we originally hoped to have it kind of nowish, but because of COVID and all that, it pushed things back a bit, because we never toured our second album... I think there's a slight chance you might hear something earlier than next year."
