Fleetwood Mac and Led Zeppelin ruled out as Glastonbury 2020 headliners
Emily Eavis has ruled out the possibility of Fleetwood Mac and Led Zeppelin headlining Glastonbury 2020.
In June 2018, Fleetwood Mac and Led Zeppelin were favourites to headline Glastonbury 2019.
Neither of the bands featured on the 2019 lineup, but Fleetwood Mac hinted that Glastonbury 2020 could be on the cards at their Wembley Stadium show when Mick Fleetwood told fans that they had "a rained out festival in England" to play.
Last night (13 October), BBC Gloucestershire’s Steve Knibbs revealed on Twitter that Emily Eavis has ruled out Led Zeppelin and Fleetwood Mac for Glastonbury 2020. She revealed the news at Cheltenham Literature Festival, and said that there will be a few surprises.
Tonight @CheltLitFest @emilyeavis confirms #FleetwoodMac and #LedZeppelin are not playing #Glastonbury50 but there will be a few surprises.
