FINNEAS composing first film score for The Fallout
Grammy-winning artist and producer FINNEAS is composing his first film score for a new feature-length drama called The Fallout.
FINNEAS, who returned with his "American Cliché" single last week, has been confirmed as the composer for an upcoming film titled The Fallout.
The Fallout, as Variety reports, will mark FINNEAS' first film score. He's not completely new to the film music world though, as he did co-write and produce his sister Billie Eilish's Bond theme song "No Time To Die" last year.
IMDB lists The Fallout's synopsis as: "High schooler Vada navigates the emotional fallout she experiences in the wake of a school tragedy. Relationships with her family, friends and view of the world are forever altered." The film will star Jenna Ortega (Stuck In The Middle, You), Maddie Ziegler, Shailene Woodley, Julie Bowen and John Ortiz.
The film’s music supervisor, Peymon Maskan said of FINNEAS, "FINNEAS brought a level of empathy to the characters that could only come from a composer who is from the same generation. He’s young, so he can relate to the story in a personal way, which was a big reason we considered him. But in order to tell this story with insight, it takes artistic maturity. FINNEAS is a singular artist who could offer both. Once he and the director Megan Park had their first conversation about the movie, I think we all knew he was the perfect composer for the film. His score is very much inspired by the hope and willingness to overcome such trauma, and it’s quite memorable."
Last month FINNEAS produced Eilish's Rosalía collaboration "Lo Vas A Olvidar".
